Branding and design for an independent startup
TINT is an eco-friendly hair salon located in the coastal Hampshire town of Emsworth. We worked with Dean at Type Twenty Five, who designed our branding.
A focused branding process
TINT is all about providing a creative service to a local customer base, who are conscious of the environmental impact their shopping decisions may have.
We found Type Twenty Five online and liked Dean's work. A major plus point was, he has experience in branding for startup businesses.
When we started TINT, we knew roughly how we wanted to be perceived — we also had a lot of ideas about design!
The obstacle we faced was 'how do we filter down and decide on the final look?'
Dean guided us through the branding process, ensuring we focused on what was right for our target customers and business. Working with us in this way gave us the confidence to make the right design choices and manage the million other tasks we had to deal with as a startup.
Since opening our salon, we have built strong brand recognition, which has been crucial in increasing our client base and revenue.
We are over-the-moon with the result!
